Montreal, April 1998

•  We toured the Unibroue brewery. They make a number of different Belgian style beers. My favorite was "Trois Pistoles" (something like a Dubbel). (image 35296)
• Another high point was playing a seshun in an Irish Pub on Crescent St.
• I didn't write an article about the beer, since I was with lots of brewers, and one of them wrote it. But the beer you get in Montreal by walking into an ordinary restaurant and ordering a draft beer is better than in the US, and less good than in Spain or Japan.
