The way to practice these divisions is to play a piece of the tune, and then see if you can play the corresponding piece of the division so that it enhances the tune, rather than detracting from it. I find this difficult, even if I know the tune by heart, when the correspondences aren't indicated in the division. Also, putting three divisions in score like this lets you compare, contrast, and switch from one to the other, so that you can play what lies more easily under your fingers.
